Special Inspections

Special inspection is the monitoring of materials, installation, fabrication, erection and placement of components and connections that require special expertise critical to the integrity of the building structure. Special Inspections are required by the California Building Code (CBC), International Building Code, and various City and Counties regulations.

We are licensed to perform the following special inspections:

• Reinforced Concrete
• Post-Installed Anchors (epoxy and mechanical anchors for holddowns, anchor bolts, and dowels)
• Structural Masonry
• Wood – High strength diaphragms, shear walls, and connections
• Soils
